Questions people ask
Why not Wix or Squarespace?
They suit you if you like building and editing the site yourself on a monthly plan. With me you pay once; the site is built for you, tested, and runs in your own hosting account, which costs nothing at this size. You can change text yourself in a Google Sheet for free, and a care plan is optional. Your content, domain and accounts are yours; what you get at hand-over is written in your scope.
Why not a local freelancer who charges less?
Some are excellent; ask who tests the site, whose name the hosting is in, and what happens when they are busy. My price buys a tested build, accounts in your name, a written scope and 30 days of free fixes on my work. If a lower price fits your budget better, take it; I would rather you have a site than not.
Why not just ask ChatGPT to build it?
AI is how I draft fast. The difference is what happens after the draft: a person checks every page against your facts, the build is tested at phone sizes and on slow connections, forms are proven to land in your inbox, and defects in my work are fixed free for 30 days after hand-over. I use the tools; I do not hand you their first answer.
Will you be reachable?
I take a few builds at a time. Your written plan states a reply time (two business days during the build). If I am ever unavailable, your site keeps running, because it lives in your accounts.
Will you keep my site running after launch?
You own and run it; that is the point. The care plan is my time, bought monthly, for changes and checks. I do not promise uptime, because the hosting is yours and its outages are the provider's.
